Medical Science Liaison, gMG-Rare Disease (Territory: Southern MA, RI, CT)

What You Will Do
- Support the MSL TA head and local TA lead in developing local territory R&D tactics
- Engage with healthcare partners to educate and communicate clinical and scientific data
- Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, key partners, advocacy, and access enablers
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries per MSL compliance standards
- Provide and/or present field observations and insights to internal collaborators
- Implement an annual scientific engagement plan and develop local OL plans aligned to it
- Support speaker training and keep speakers updated on new data
- Support Amgen-sponsored research (may serve as a study lead)
- Liaise with potential investigators in non-sponsored clinical research
- Lead/participate on project teams supporting MSL strategies and tactics
- Lead and support congress activities per strategy
- Compliantly collaborate cross-functionally (may serve as main point of contact)
- Maintain clinical acuity/expertise; complete assigned training (may serve as training lead/mentor)

Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- Or Master’s degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience
- Or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience

Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO (other doctoral degrees considered)
- 2+ years experience in scientific/medical affairs (biotech/pharma)
- 3+ years clinical practice/clinical or medical research (incl. post-doctoral training)
- Rare disease therapeutic area expertise
