Purpose/Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serving primarily New York City; field-based.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific/clinical knowledge by synthesizing latest research on products, disease states, and standard of care.
- Serve as a primary interface between Lilly Medical and Scientific/Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs); support HCPs with evidence and clinical care gaps to improve patient outcomes.
- Connect SEs/CEs with internal Lilly resources; facilitate collaborative research opportunities.
- Partner with clinical development to support studies and investigators.
- Analyze customer data; plan and prioritize engagement via face-to-face and virtual activities.
- Implement and execute a strategic territory plan using territory analytics; coordinate compliant partnerships across field roles.
- Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal and cross-functional teams; use sound judgment and escalate issues as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD/MD/PhD) + 2β3 years clinically relevant experience; or Masters/Bachelorβs + 5+ years clinical/research/industry experience in relevant therapeutic area.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. full-time; no visa/work authorization sponsorship.
- Valid U.S. driverβs license and acceptable driving record.
Preferences/Skills:
- Advanced presentation and computer skills; literature identification; strong verbal/written communication.
- Self-directed field work; teamwork/interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Resiliency, intellectual curiosity, learning agility, strategic/critical thinking, and ability to leverage digital/field tools.
- Dermatology experience strongly preferred.
Location/Travel:
- Live within Atlanta geography near a transport hub.
- Travel up to 80% and weekend commitments.
Compensation/Benefits (if eligible):
- Anticipated wage: $151,500β$244,200; may include company bonus. Comprehensive employee benefits including 401(k), medical/dental/vision, PTO/leave, life insurance, and well-being benefits.
