Medical Science Liaison - Chicago

Territory: Illinois, Northern Indiana, Wisconsin
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with HCPs, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, payers, decision makers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in dermatology.
- Present data and conduct balanced peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with HCPs, academic institutions, clinical investigators, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate on scientific communication plans, medical-to-medical materials, and research; facilitate investigator-initiated trials and work with Clinical Development on investigator selection, relationships, and site performance/recruitment.
- Assist in scientific training for Commercial and internal colleagues using approved materials.
- Provide scientific expertise and support for speaker training and advisory boards (as requested).
- Represent at national and regional medical meetings; support Medical Information booth activities as needed; cultivate relationships and share insights internally.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or equivalent.
- 5 years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Ability to build and sustain strong collaborative relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; one-on-one and group settings.
- Demonstrated ability to identify medical engagement opportunities and drive scientific engagement goals.
- Clear understanding of clinical research methodologies; ability to independently evaluate and translate scientific material.
- Travel locally/regionally/nationally up to ~50% (when appropriate).
Preferred:
- Dermatology or Allergy/Immunology experience.

- Self-starter; entrepreneurial; results-driven; able to manage competing timelines independently; can overcome ambiguity.
