Regional Medical Science Liaison (MSL) β Central (ideal location: Chicago or Detroit area)
Responsibilities
- Engage and develop relationships with top institutions and key opinion leaders (KOLs); serve as key clinical/scientific resource
- Disseminate company-approved technical/scientific information; facilitate education on disease states
- Support and collaborate on clinical research activities; facilitate independent investigator-initiated studies (IIS) with internal committee
- Deliver medical/scientific presentations to diverse audiences (physicians, pharmacists, nurses, payers, internal staff)
- Contribute to publication planning and medical education materials; support standard response letters
- Identify KOL partnership opportunities; support speaker training initiatives
- Collect/analyze/interpret disease and technical product information at medical congresses
- Provide clinical/scientific education to Sales & Marketing; collaborate with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, and Sales & Marketing
- Support clinical development via site identification and investigator recruitment/education
- Support market access initiatives as needed; complete administrative/internal projects
- Conduct all activities per relevant legal/regulatory/corporate guidelines
Qualifications/Experience
- Advanced clinical/science degree or credentials (PharmD, PhD, or MD) or equivalent
- 3+ years MSL experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
- Desirable: clinical experience in neurology, oncology, immunology, or cardiovascular disease

- Strong business writing and persuasive presentations; ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional, cross-geography collaboration
Other Requirements
- Extensive overnight travel: 50β75%
Compensation/Benefits
- $190,000β$210,000 wage scale; medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match; 3 weeks vacation, 80 hours sick time, 12 paid holidays; eligible for incentive and stock options.
