Position Medical Science Liaison, Cardiovascular - Milvexian (Field - Michigan)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic/community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions.
- Use various interaction channels (1:1, group, remote) and deliver compliant, medically accurate presentations and responses to questions.
- Assess the medical landscape by meeting with TLs/HCPs/access stakeholders to understand needs and expertise.
- Continuously update knowledge of treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, HEOR outcomes research, and scientific activities.
- Understand competitive landscape and prepare to address customer information needs.
- Identify partnership opportunities with HCPs (disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, ISR) aligned with BMS objectives.
- Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings; collect and communicate medical insights back to medical/commercial teams.
Contribute to the Medical Plan
- Develop geography-specific Field Medical and TL interaction plans; support institution/account planning and deliver scientifically meaningful medical programs/projects.
Provide Medical Support
- Establish customer-centric, compliant collaboration with cross-matrix field teams; support internal training and provide scientific updates.
- Support promotional meetings and assigned congress activities.
Support Clinical Trial Activities
- Support interventional and non-interventional studies (site identification/assessment, recruitment support, feasibility recommendations, ISR submission/execution follow-up).
- Ensure investigators apply Pharmacovigilance procedures and alert appropriate personnel to adverse events; support CRO-sponsored studies.
Position Requirements/Qualifications
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP with relevant pharmaceutical experience and disease-area expertise; knowledge of scientific publications, clinical trials, national healthcare/access environment, HEOR.
- Excellent English (spoken/written).
Experience Desired
- 2+ years in clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience; independent and team-oriented; strong communication/presentation; ability to build peer-to-peer relationships; quick learning; demonstrate BMS values.
Essential/Travel
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; safe, ethical driving history.
- Travel required; field-based role living in territory or within 50 miles of borders.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- $166,090–$201,262 base pay range (US field, full-time).
