Medical Science Liaison β Bone Health (TX). Territory: Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as field-based medical expert; communicate scientific/product information and report field observations.
- Support local R&D tactics via Scientific Engagement Plan (SEP); educate and engage HCPs (APPs, fellows, residents).
- Communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers/providers/stakeholders and access enablers.
- Provide clinical and pharmacoeconomic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees; may be main medical point of contact for prioritized accounts.
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries per MSL compliance standards; provide field insights internally.
- Execute annual MSL goals/metrics; develop OL plans; support speaker training.
- Support sponsored research (may serve as study lead); facilitate investigator-initiated proposals.
- Lead/participate in project teams; lead/support congress activities; collaborate cross-functionally.
- Maintain clinical expertise and complete training (may mentor/train); advance MSL value proposition.
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree
OR Masterβs degree + 3 years Medical Affairs
OR Bachelorβs degree + 5 years Medical Affairs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered)
- 2+ years industry Scientific/Medical Affairs; managed payer/IDN engagement
- 2+ years clinical practice/research; post-doctoral training acceptable
- Osteoporosis/Bone Health therapeutic area expertise
