Medical Science Liaison (MSL) β Remote (primarily)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Dermatology KOLs.
- Map, identify, profile, and prioritize thought leaders aligned to medical strategy.
- Manage assigned geography (entrepreneurial approach).
- Support clinical development: site identification, trial recruitment, timely milestone completion, and data presentation.
- Attend and report on assigned medical conferences.
- Collaborate on medical affairs activities (publications, advisory boards, medical education, training, speaker development).
- Serve as a scientific resource to external disease experts and internal stakeholders; provide up-to-date disease/product information.
- Gather and communicate HCP insights to inform medical strategy.
- Train internal stakeholders on scientific/medical topics.
- Maintain compliant communication and accurate documentation of MSL activities.
- Lead and/or contribute to Medical Affairs projects/workstreams.
- Support commercial activities where appropriate.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MSN, DNP, PA-C, MPH, etc.).
- 3+ years MSL experience, including Dermatology MSL experience.
- Well-established networks/active relationships with Dermatology KOLs in the territory.
- Understand compliance considerations and work compliantly.
- Travel ~50% (medical/team/group meetings; some weekends).
Preferred:
- Launch/pre-launch experience; psoriasis and/or Rheumatology experience.
- Start-up environment experience.
Skills:
- Excellent oral/written communication, strong interpersonal/engagement skills, initiative, proactive mindset, ability to work independently, thrive in ambiguity, solution-oriented, strong time management/prioritization.
