Role Summary

Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-facing representative of DBV Technologies Medical Affairs responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to support the medical and scientific needs of the companyโ€šร„รดs products. The MSL engages in exchange of scientific data and medical information with external stakeholders, demonstrates understanding of customer needs, and provides medical education, supports clinical trials, and gathers insights from the field to inform medical strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs/HCPs, identifying and managing professional relationships aligned with company objectives.
  • Educate KOLs/HCPs by providing educational information and updates tailored to their needs.
  • Engage scientifically by interpreting and disseminating balanced scientific, clinical, and health economic data; present data at meetings, conferences, and educational sessions.
  • Gather insights from KOLs/HCPs to guide medical strategy; report on competitive intelligence from the field to inform therapeutic focus.
  • Provide input for medical strategy by sharing field insights aligned with business objectives.
  • Respond to Medical Information Requests (MIR) with timely and accurate information.
  • Train and support the Sales Force with scientific training to enable effective product communication.
  • Support Company-Sponsored Research/Trials, coordinating and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Support Investigator-Led Research (IITs, ISTs) ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications

  • A doctorate in a health science or clinical discipline is strongly preferred (MD/DO, PharmD, Nurse Practitioner, PhD or related); significant clinical/industry experience may be accepted in lieu of education requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience in pharma/biotech industry, clinical pharmacy, research, or related field; MSL experience preferred.
  • Strong broad-based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge; allergy/immunology and pediatric experience strongly preferred.
  • Clinical trial development and drug launch experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical research processes, FDA regulations and OIG guidelines required.
  • Excellent presentation and teaching skills; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to think strategically, assess issues, and work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple changing priorities, work independently, and adhere to Medical Affairs direction.
  • Ability to lead and participate in projects while balancing field work.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, identify opportunities/issues, and solve cross-functional problems.
  • Proficient computer skills (word processing, slide materials, spreadsheets).
  • Capable of frequent business travel (approximately 50-75% of time), including air travel, overnight stays, and weekends.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driverโ€šร„รดs license.
  • Field-based position; ability to set up a home-based office.
