Medical Science Liaison (MSL) — Dermatology (Primarily Remote)
Current territory: Chicagoland, New England, Mid Atlantic
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Dermatology KOLs.
- Map, identify, profile, and prioritize thought leaders aligned with medical strategy.
- Manage territory with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Support clinical development: site identification, trial recruitment, milestone completion, and data presentation.
- Attend and report on assigned medical conferences.
- Collaborate on medical affairs initiatives (publications, advisory boards, medical education, training, speaker development).
- Serve as a scientific resource to external experts and internal stakeholders.
- Provide up-to-date medical/disease and product information.
- Gather and communicate HCP insights to inform medical strategy.
- Train internal stakeholders on scientific/medical topics.
- Maintain compliant, effective internal communication; lead/contribute to medical affairs workstreams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of MSL activities.
- Support commercial activities as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in scientific/clinical/medical discipline (PharmD, PhD, MSN, DNP, PA-C, MPH, etc.).
- 3+ years in an MSL role, including Dermatology MSL experience; launch/pre-launch, psoriasis, and/or Rheumatology experience a plus.
- Established networks/active relationships with Dermatology KOLs in territory.
- Ability to work compliantly.
- Travel ~50% (medical/team/group meetings; some weekends).
Skills:
- Excellent oral/written communication; strong interpersonal/engagement skills.
- Proactive, flexible, solution-oriented; thrives in ambiguity.
- Strong time management; independent.
- Start-up experience a plus.
