Medical Liaison - Rare Bleeding Disorders - Southwest - TX, OK, NM, AZ

The Position
- Builds relationships and demonstrates the clinical outcomes/benefits of NNI products.
- Educates and demonstrates key product benefits to HCPs.
- Provides medical information and coordinates educational workshops, round tables, and medical forums.
- Identifies sites for clinical trials across all stages of development.
- Acts as a scientific liaison between NNI and key external customers; provides advanced product/scientific/medical field support.
- Determines territory prioritization using customer need and analytics; develops and maintains medical (territory/account) plans with the Field Director.
Essential Functions
- Administrative: completes timely accurate duties per SOPs/compliance; manages regional business and budgets; maintains understanding of processes; provides monthly scientific activity reports; records activities in systems (e.g., Veeva) and expenses in Concur.
- Relationship development: attends medical/scientific meetings; stays current on issues/data; develops relationships with HCPs/IHNs; supports utilization and answers HCP/IHN questions; develops medical account strategy/plan.
- Field clinical support: collaborates with HEOR for scientific value propositions and HEOR presentations; collaborates with Marketing/Sales for scientific strategy; coordinates studies with investigation sites and supports recruitment/retention and publications; ensures integrated regional clinical coverage; provides customized clinical education/support within IHNs; coordinates education for executives/medical directors/formulary stakeholders; develops/presents approved product and scientific updates.
Physical Requirements
- 50β75% overnight travel.
- Territory: Southwest (TX, AZ, OK, NM). Field-based; live in territory or nearby.
- Valid driverβs license; maintain good standing.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree required.
- 2+ yearsβ experience in health-related system, pharmaceutical company, or managed care environment.
- Business acumen (e.g., formulary process participation).
- Strong communication skills.
Highly Preferred
- Rare bleeding disorders and/or rare disease experience.
- Medical liaisons experience.
