The Position
- Builds relationships and demonstrates clinical outcomes and benefits of NNI products.
- Educates and demonstrates key product benefits to HCPs.
- Provides medical information; coordinates educational workshops, roundtables, and medical forums.
- Explores and identifies sites for clinical trials in all stages of development.
- Functions as a scientific liaison between NNI and key external customers to further scientific exchange.
- Provides advanced field support to Medical, Sales, Marketing, and Managed Care/Government using academic/professional credentials and scientific expertise.
- Develops and maintains medical (territory and account) plans in coordination with the Field Director.
Administrative/Compliance & Reporting
- Completes administrative duties in line with SOPs; complies with guidelines, policies, legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Manages regional business operations and operational budgets.
- Maintains understanding of relevant processes; supports other FMA members.
- Provides monthly reports on scientific support activities and budget expenditures.
- Records activities in a customer response system (e.g., Veeva) and expenses in Concur.
Field-Based Clinical Support
- Collaborates with HEOR to deliver scientific value propositions; delivers HEOR presentations upon request.
- Collaborates with Marketing and Sales to develop scientific strategies.
- Coordinates clinical/study investigation sites to support study execution and publication.
- Coordinates regional coverage with FMA team members.
- Coordinates account-level clinical education/support within IHNs and provides education to Chief Executives, Medical Directors, and formulary stakeholders.
Physical Requirements
- 50โ75% overnight travel.
- Territory: Southwest (TX, AZ, OK, NM); field-basedโideal candidate lives in territory or bordering state near a major airport.
- Valid driverโs license; maintain good standing per company motor vehicle record points threshold.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree required.
- At least 2 yearsโ experience in a health-related system, pharmaceutical company, or managed care environment.
- Business acumen (e.g., formulary process exposure).
- Strong communication skills.
