The Position
- Builds relationships and demonstrates clinical outcomes and benefits of NNI products.
- Educates and demonstrates benefits of key products to HCPs.
- Provides medical information and coordinates educational workshops, round tables, and medical forums.
- Explores and identifies sites for clinical trials across all stages of development.
- Functions as a scientific liaison between NNI and key external customers to support scientific exchange.
- Provides advanced product/scientific/medical field support to Medical, Sales, Marketing, Managed Care, and Government by communicating with healthcare providers and relevant organizations.
- Develops and maintains medical (territory and account) plans in coordination with the Field Director.

Essential Functions
- Completes administrative duties per SOPs; complies with guidelines/policies/regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Ensures administrative management of regional business and operational budgets; maintains Novo Nordisk process knowledge.
- Provides monthly scientific support reports; records activities in systems (e.g., Veeva) and expenses in Concur.
- Attends medical/scientific meetings; stays current on issues and new data; develops relationships with HCPs/IHNs.
- Combines account management, business acumen, and scientific expertise to enhance value and collaboration.
- Coordinates HEOR collaborations and delivers HEOR presentations as requested.
- Collaborates on scientific strategies with Marketing and Sales leadership.
- Coordinates studies with investigation sites; supports patient recruitment/retention and publication.
- Coordinates regional FMA coverage and provides system-wide clinical education/support within IHNs.
- Presents product/scientific updates including formulary presentations using approved materials.

Qualifications
- Doctoral degree required.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a health-related system, pharmaceutical company, or managed care environment.
- Business acumen (e.g., formulary process participation) and strong communication skills.

Highly Preferred
- Rare Bleeding Disorders and/or Medical Liaison experience.

Application/Role Details
- Field-based territory: Ohio Valley (KY, OH, PA, WV); live in the territory or bordering state near a major airport.
- 50–75% overnight travel; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
