Role Responsibilities
- Supports the development and execution of U.S. medical strategies and tactics in support of Vyndamax.
- Collaborates with cross-functional colleagues (commercial, field medical, HEOR, digital, U.S. medical information, and internal teams) to enhance and deliver U.S. medical plan(s).
- Serves as a Medical Affairs reviewer within the U.S. Review Committee (RC) to support scientific accuracy and compliance of promotional and non-promotional materials (with Legal, Regulatory, and Marketing).
- Acts as a scientific resource on ATTR-CM disease state, clinical data, product labeling, and competitive landscape.
- Supports and coordinates U.S. medical congress activities (coverage planning, session prioritization, onsite medical support) aligned with U.S. Medical Affairs plans.
- Provides scientific input into medical and educational content (accuracy, clinical relevance, medical strategy; incorporates Field Medical and customer insights as appropriate).
- Supports customer insights process; collaborates with Field Medical and stakeholders and participates in advisory boards/insight-generation activities as appropriate.
- Supports therapeutic area and product training needs by delivering scientific training to cross-functional colleagues.
- Partners with U.S. Medical Information to provide expert input into Medical Letters and response documents, as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- MD/DO with 4+ years of experience.
- Knowledge and experience in Heart Failure/ATTR-CM (preferred).
- Understanding of the drug development process.
- Knowledge of health care economics and its impact on medical decision making.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Customer-oriented approach; ability to work effectively in cross-functional/matrix teams.
- Proven strategic thinking; ability to interpret and implement strategic directions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
