The Role
Medical Director (Oncology), Global Clinical Development Team.

Work arrangement:
- Flexibility to work away from the office for 20%–40% of a typical schedule (single days or consecutive days), not exceeding 40% within a 60-day period, approved by the hiring manager.

Responsibilities:
- Direct study design, protocol development and execution of clinical research for pivotal cancer studies.
- Contribute to overall medical strategy for assigned clinical development programs/product pipeline; provide in-depth medical advice on potential new projects.
- Generate/review clinical components of key documents supporting registration, market access and commercialization (regulatory documents, registration/value/pharmacoeconomic dossiers).
- Ensure quality of clinical documents (Investigators’ Brochure, protocols, study reports, clinical components of regulatory submissions, safety-related documents).
- Serve as medical expert; lead interactions with external stakeholders (e.g., regulators, KOLs, advisory boards, patient advocacy groups) and internal stakeholders (Research, Translation Medicine, Safety, Regulatory, Global Medical Affairs, Commercial) and internal decision boards.

Moreover, the Employee shall:
- Oversee patient safety and signal detection (with Safety physician support).
- Plan/execute publication and clinical communication strategy.
- Provide input to key external presentations.
- Ensure career development, onboarding/training/mentoring, and support performance evaluation for CMT members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned; participate in interviews; act as Study Lead and represent program/disease area when needed; align with Medical Department objectives.

Requirements:
- MD with at least 3 years direct industry experience in oncology or hematology.
- Experience as responsible Medical Officer for clinical trials.

Preferred:
- Strong scientific background/deep understanding of solid tumor oncology.
