Position Summary
- Provide scientific leadership and medical expertise to support clinical development of civorebrutinib in immune-mediated renal diseases.
- Execute Global Medical Affairs strategy and tactical plan for civorebrutinib; serve as Global Medical Affairs lead (EVER001).
- Support the broader nephrology franchise, including Sparsentan (FILSPARI), as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide scientific leadership; build expertise in civorebrutinib, immune-mediated renal kidney diseases, competitive landscape, emerging data, and standards of care.
- Lead global KOL engagement and scientific exchange; develop long-term KOL relationships.
- Plan and execute scientific engagement activities (advisory boards, expert panels, investigator meetings).
- Partner with Field Medical to support evidence generation, medical education, field training, and collect actionable insights.
- Translate insights into recommendations for clinical development and evidence-generation plans.
- Partner with Scientific Communications on scientific messaging, SCP, publication strategy, congress strategy, and medical education.
- Contribute to Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) and evidence-gap identification.
- Collaborate with Market Access/HEOR for evidence generation and payer engagement support.
- Cross-functional partnership and governance with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Commercial, etc.
- Support training programs; assist civorebrutinib clinical trial program with investigator/site engagement.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- MD/MD-PhD/PharmD/PharmD-PhD/DO or other advanced relevant clinical/scientific degree.
- 6+ years Medical Affairs experience in biotech/pharma, supporting clinical development and/or commercialization.
- Clinical and/or Medical Affairs experience in nephrology and/or immunology (broader autoimmune/rare disease strongly preferred).
- Experience engaging KOLs, investigators, societies, and patient advocacy; scientific communications/publications, medical education, congress strategy, and advisory boards.
Skills
- Strong scientific acumen; strategic thinking; ability to influence stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organizational/project management.
- Ethics/integrity and patient focus.
- Travel up to ~40%; face-to-face/onsite in San Diego not 100% remote.

- Target base pay range: $206,000 - $268,000.
