What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain close partnership with key nephrology medical experts and healthcare providers to generate insights for medical and cross-functional strategy and tactical plans.
- Partner cross-functionally to generate comprehensive KOL maps across relevant countries to facilitate engagement plans.
- Develop and implement cross-functionally aligned medical strategies for clinical development programs and eventual launch planning for IgAN.
- Lead high-impact medical activities (advisory boards, medical education, medical research projects).
- Partner with clinical development and operations teams to support clinical programs via enhanced site engagement and identification of center(s) of excellence.
- Lead evidence generation strategy, including investigator-initiated research strategy.
- Partner with scientific communications and publications to develop and execute publication plans and medical education strategies.
- Identify and advance productive collaborations with external stakeholders, including healthcare and patient advocacy organizations.
Qualifications
Required
- Advanced degree: MD, PhD, or PharmD.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience (preferably headquarters-based Medical Affairs and/or Field Medical). Relevant nephrology clinical practice may substitute.
- Experience developing, communicating, and executing a comprehensive global medical affairs plan.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with global/regional/affiliate medical teams to align regional execution with global medical strategy.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with risk sharing, collaboration, and learning.
- Maintain clinical/technical expertise via literature review and key scientific meeting attendance.
- Strong working knowledge of US and ex-US Medical Affairs regulations.
- Travel 30–40%.
Preferred
- Experience with medical launch and products across lifecycle stages.
- Ability to manage projects and take initiative to solve complex problems.

Compensation (as stated)
- Base compensation range: $225,000.00–$310,000.00
