Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated US Medical Plan for Dermatology products (MSLs, Medical Education, Medical Communications/Publications, Health Outcomes, Safety, Clinical Research including Phase IIIB-IV and ISTs) and manage the annual budget.
- Ensure on-time/on-budget delivery; communicate Medical Plan progress to leadership/Core Team and execution stakeholders.
- Provide evidence/data to define strategy aligned with clinical development and commercial objectives; deliver medical strategy/expertise to Clinical, Commercial, Market Access, and Regulatory.
- Lead MSL field strategy/operations, manage MSL resources/budget, and partner on engagement planning tailored to local needs.
- Oversee and support clinical study programs (protocols, CRFs, reports, SAPs, guidelines, timely reporting), ensuring GCP/ICH compliance; review/approve IST concepts/protocols.
- Coordinate post-marketing trials/registries; ensure fair/timely public presentation of generated data.
- Partner with US Drug Safety on AEs/safety signals; communicate product alerts.
- Review/approve promotional and medical materials and scientific content for compliance; review training and independent medical education grant applications.
- Build relationships with Key Thought Leaders; lead advisory board discussions and support external scientific advisory boards; represent at meetings and provide disease/product training.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- Advance degree (PhD, PharmD, PA, NP, or MD with relevant experience).
- 5+ years in Medical Affairs; strong US medical strategy track record.
- Dermatology and/or Immunology experience strongly preferred.
- Clinical trial design/execution knowledge preferred; experience across Medical Affairs launch and lifecycle management.
- Strong scientific/clinical judgment; leadership presence; matrix stakeholder management; strong written/oral communication; integrity/ethics; knowledge of pharmacovigilance/local regulatory process; digital literacy.
