Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the US Medical Affairs Plan (UMAP) and the medical sections of the launch plan (if applicable), including Launch Readiness materials.
- Ensure execution of medical tactics with the cross-functional Medical Matrix Team (e.g., omnichannel activities, congresses, medical education).
- Execute advice seeking activities and share external insights internally to inform medical strategy and clinical development.
- Integrate US environment needs/medical voice of the customer into medical plans and global medical work.
- Provide input into Phase IIIB/IV studies and real-world evidence (RWE) studies aligned to the integrated evidence plan (IEP).
- Partner with Medical Communications/Training and Medical Information to align medical materials with US medical strategy; create internal medical resources (e.g., FAQs, Treatment Landscape).
- Serve as SME to support scientific training plans.
- Prioritize medical investments aligned to patient impact (Medical Impact Framework).
- Lead/contribute to appropriate US scientific engagement with external communities.
- Apply sound medical governance aligned with relevant policies/procedures.
- Support USMAL or Medical Affairs TAH as needed; collaborate cross-functionally to ensure delivery and integrity of medical activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- PharmD, PhD, or advanced science degree (MS, MPH).
- Oncology experience.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Colorectal cancer experience.
- Prior US Medical Affairs experience.
- Business acumen; customer focus; relationship building; change enablement; learning agility.
- Understanding of medical affairs accountabilities for evidence generation, external engagement, and advice seeking.
- Strong organizational/planning skills and excellent written/verbal communications.
Travel: 20β30%
