Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and finalize NDA, IND, CSRs, clinical summaries/overviews, eCTD summaries, study protocols, IBs, ICFs, and other clinical study-related regulatory documents.
- Write, edit, and finalize clinical/non-clinical publications, congress materials, educational/training materials, and other external-facing documents.
- Communicate effectively with diverse audiences (scientists, physicians, payers, regulators, patients).
- Read/write speaker presentations and commercial materials; participate in the speaker’s program and training.
- Engage with KOLs; respond to Medical Information Requests.
- Identify potential investigator studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups (e.g., Regulatory Operations, Biometrics, Clinical Operations) to gather source data and prepare/finalize regulatory documents.
- Lead document review meetings; direct cross-functional teams on document content expectations.
- Perform QC of clinical and nonclinical documents; format and hyperlink documents for eCTD submissions per writing guidelines.
- Participate in project team meetings.
- Onsite execution required in Washington, DC (Vanda HQ); work onsite five days/week (Mon–Fri). Some travel may be required.

Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD).
- 2+ years creating scientific resources in pharma/agency/vendor settings for healthcare professionals; Medical Affairs experience strongly preferred.
- Medical writing and publication planning experience; CMPP certification a plus.
- Scientific/clinical background in psychiatry and/or neurology required; preference for schizophrenia/mood disorders and/or multiple sclerosis industry experience.

Required/Preferred skills:
- Detail-oriented; exemplary written communication; ability to visualize data and convey complex information clearly.
- Project management/prioritization; adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
