- Engage Rare Neurology experts and other key customers within an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch product, grow brand share and revenue, and consistently deliver product goals.
- Partner with collaboration stakeholders (e.g., Reimbursement and Access Specialists) to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends; develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives in assigned territory.
- Build strong working relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy support groups, and internal teams (Reimbursement and Access, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Use deep knowledge of applicable customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to establish, generate, and expand market share; emphasize the “total account call” so all account personnel are educated on available products.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate with the account team (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and information from account stakeholders (business model, metrics, challenges, goals).
This Role Requires
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced education/certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales; specialty/biologic/REMS experience strongly preferred (launch experience preferred).
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology concentration).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented; strong product launch track record.
- Strong analytical problem-solving/planning and account management skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and marketplace.
