Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY -SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Responsibilities:
- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers in an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends; develop strategies aligned to brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders (clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training/Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Demonstrate emphasis on the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans; execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts with the account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep knowledge of assigned accounts through internal research and stakeholder input (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); Master’s degree/additional advanced education/certifications (plus).
- Minimum 5 years successful Neurology sales; specialty/biologic/REMS experience strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology focus).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity and compliance.
- Results-oriented; strong product launch track record.
- Strong account management skills (analytical, problem-solving, planning).
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and marketplace.
