The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings within an assigned geography to deliver clinically focused messaging that drives revenue and achieves product goals.

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts/customers and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders (clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (health care delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Apply deep knowledge of applicable customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Execute strategic account selling/management; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute tactics within key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate with the account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep account knowledge via internal research and integrating stakeholder input (business model, metrics, challenges, goals).

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced education/certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience; specialty/biologic/REMS strongly preferred (launch experience preferred).
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology focus).
- Proven success in complex markets with diverse customer segments with integrity/compliance.
- Results orientation with product launch success.
- Strong account management, analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
