Role Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers within an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share; expand within key Rare Neurology accounts.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Build strong working relationships with clinicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and internal stakeholders (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Use strategic account selling/management skills; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Lead the “total account call” so all account personnel are educated on commercially available products.
- Proactively identify business opportunities and coordinate team efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through support).
Qualifications/Skills (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree or advanced education/certifications (preferred).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products (strongly preferred); launch experience (preferred).
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in neurology (large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care) (minimum).
- Demonstrated success in complex markets with consistent, integrity-driven compliance-aligned performance.
- Results-oriented; strong product launch track record.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and account management skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and market.
