Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY - SALT LAKE CITY, UT

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and other key customers within an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch product, grow brand share and revenue, and consistently meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share; establish, generate, and expand market share within key accounts.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, collaboration teammates, and internal partners (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Use strategic account selling and management skills to create comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all personnel in the account on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts with the account team (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep knowledge of assigned accounts through internal research and integration of stakeholder information (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications (preferred).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience and specialty/biologic/REMS products (strongly preferred); launch experience (preferred).
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations with a Neurology focus.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse segments and strong integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented; proven track record of product launches.
- Strong account management with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
