Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY - PHOENIX N, AZ

Role: Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Field Based (Phoenix (North Metro), AZ)
Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and customers in assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and achieve product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share; identify business opportunities with assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and support brand/corporate objectives.
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (care delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Manage “total account call” by educating all account personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop territory/account/customer plans; gain account knowledge (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
- Support sales success through participation in congresses, regional meetings, and industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree/advanced certifications (preferred).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products (strongly preferred); launch experience (preferred).
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care (Neurology concentration).
- Proven, integrity-driven sales performance in complex markets; results-oriented.
- Strong account management, analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and marketplace.
Compensation:
- $158,950–$220,000 (annual).
