Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Field Based (Philadelphia South (Metro), PA)

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and customers in an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends; develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and internal stakeholders (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (delivery landscape, influencers, payer systems).
- Use strategic account selling/management: create territory/account/customer plans and drive desired objectives; emphasize the “total account call”.
- Develop and execute tactics in key accounts to establish/expand market share; identify business opportunities and coordinate account-team efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep account knowledge via internal research and stakeholder input (business model, metrics, challenges, goals).

Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales (specialty/biologic/REMS preferred), with launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years working with thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care (Neurology concentration).
- Proven consistent sales success in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented; strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or IDNs.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.

Salary range (annually): $158,950 - $220,000.
