The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals through compliant, integrity-driven performance.

Responsibilities:
- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives
- Build strong working relationships with customers, collaboration colleagues, and internal contacts (clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training/Trade)
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (health care delivery, influencers, payer systems)
- Apply deep knowledge of applicable customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations)
- Execute strategic account selling and territory/account/customer planning to achieve objectives
- Emphasize the “total account call” by educating all personnel in the account on commercially available Regeneron products
- Develop strategy and execute tactics within key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share
- Identify business opportunities; coordinate with the account team (e.g., contracting pull-through)
- Gather and integrate internal/account information (business model, metrics, challenges, goals)

Requirements (This Role Requires):
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced education/certifications a plus)
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience; specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred; launch experience preferred
- 2+ years working with thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology)
- Proven success in complex markets with integrity and compliance
- Results oriented; proven product launch success
- Strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and marketplace

Location: Oakland (Metro), CA (Field Based)

Salary range (annually): $158,950 - $220,000
