Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers in assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and achieve product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share; partner with Reimbursement and Access and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and internal stakeholders (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (care delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Use strategic account selling/management skills to create territory/account/customer plans; conduct the “total account call” to educate all relevant personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop strategy and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share; identify business opportunities and coordinate contracting pull-through with the account team.
- Gather and integrate account information (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals) through internal research.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Master’s degree or advanced certifications a plus.
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience with specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years experience working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in neurology-focused large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care.
- Demonstrated integrity/compliance-focused success in complex markets; results-oriented with product-launch track record.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving/planning and account management skills; experience calling on large neurology group practices and/or IDNs.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
Salary range (annually): $158,950 - $220,000.
