Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Field Based (Nashville (Metro), TN)

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers in an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share; build and maintain relationships with clinicians, nurses, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy support groups.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends; develop strategies aligned to brand/corporate objectives.
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Apply “total account call” approach to educate all relevant account personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans; identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts across the account team (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account (business model, relevant metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
- Support sales success through participation in congresses, regional meetings, and industry events.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); Master’s degree or advanced education/certifications (plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales; specialty/biologic/REMS experience strongly preferred (launch experience preferred).
- 2+ years experience with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in neurology-focused large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations.
- Proven, integrity-driven success in complex markets and product launches.
- Strong account management with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current market.
