Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY - MINNEAPOLIS, MN

Role Summary:
- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers within an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share.
- Build relationships with clinicians, nurses, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups.
- Partner with collaboration stakeholders (e.g., Reimbursement and Access Specialists) to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends; develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Use deep knowledge of assigned customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Execute strategic account selling and management; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate effort with the account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep knowledge of each account via internal research and stakeholder-sourced information (business model, metrics, challenges, goals).
This Role Requires:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s/advanced certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales; specialty/biologic/REMS experience strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years experience working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in neurology-focused large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity and compliance.
- Results-oriented; proven product launch success.
- Strong account management, analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
