Responsibilities:
- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers within an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products and grow brand share, revenue, and achieve product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across clinics, physicians, nurses, health care providers, patient advocacy groups, and internal teams (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training & Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology market profiling to understand regional/local care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Execute strategic account selling and management; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Emphasize the “total account call” by educating all account personnel on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Develop and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate with the Rare Neurology account team (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); Master’s degree or advanced certifications (plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience and specialty/biologic/REMS products (strongly preferred); product launch experience (preferred).
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology).
- Proven, consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented; strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Current account management experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and market.
