The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) drives clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals across an assigned geography.

Responsibilities
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share.
- Build relationships with clinicians, nurses, and patient advocacy groups.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Build strong working relationships across internal and customer stakeholders (e.g., physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (health care delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Create territory/account/customer plans using strategic account selling and management skills.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available products.
- Identify business opportunities; coordinate account-team efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep account knowledge via internal research and stakeholder information.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree or advanced certifications (preferred).
- 5+ years Neurology sales experience with specialty/biologic/REMS products (strongly preferred); launch experience (preferred).
- 2+ years experience working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology concentration).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented with product launch success.
- Strong account management and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.

Salary (annually): $158,950–$220,000.
