Role: Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Field Based (Little Rock (Metro), AR)
Responsibilities:
- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers in assigned geography with clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and achieve product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share; proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with clinicians, nurses, health care providers, and patient advocacy groups; partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Reimbursement and Access, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (health care delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Use strategic account selling/management with comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available products.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate pull-through contracting support.
- Gather and integrate account information (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced education/certifications a plus).
- Minimum 5 years successful Neurology sales experience; specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care (Neurology focus).
- Proven consistent sales success in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented; strong account management, analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and marketplace.
Salary Range (annually): $158,950 - $220,000.
