The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings within an assigned geography, delivering clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and meet product goals.

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and customers in assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and achieve product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong working relationships with clinics, physicians, nurses, key health care providers, patient advocacy groups, Reimbursement and Access team, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, and Training/Trade.
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (health care delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Use strategic account selling and management skills; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Lead “total account call” activities to educate all account personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute tactics within key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate account team efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Build deep account knowledge through internal research and stakeholder input (business model, metrics, challenges, goals).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or advanced education/certifications preferred.
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience with specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years experience working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in neurology-focused large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with strong integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented; track record of product launch success.
- Strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
