Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS)
Responsibilities:
- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers in assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products and grow brand share, revenue, and product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and internal stakeholders (Reimbursement & Access, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training & Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (regional/local delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Execute strategic account selling and territory/account/customer plans to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate team efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Develop deep account knowledge via internal research and stakeholder information (business model/metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree or advanced education/certifications (preferred).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales (strongly preferred), including specialty/biologic/REMS; launch experience (preferred).
- 2+ years experience with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care (Neurology).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented; strong product launch track record.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving/planning account management skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
Location: Jacksonville South (Metro), FL (Field Based)
Salary range (annually): $158,950–$220,000.
