Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY - JACKSON, MS

Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers within an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and achieve product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends; develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal/external stakeholders (clinics, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Apply deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Use strategic account selling and management skills; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Maintain emphasis on the “total account call” so all account personnel are educated on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Develop and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities with assigned accounts; coordinate efforts (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep account knowledge via internal research and stakeholder input (business model, metrics, challenges, goals).
Qualifications/Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years successful Neurology sales experience; specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred (launch experience preferred).
- Minimum 2 years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology focus).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with strong integrity and compliance.
- Results-oriented; proven product launch success.
- Strong account management with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or IDNs.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current market.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications.
