- Engage Rare Neurology experts and other key Rare Neurology customers within an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics and trends; develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives in territory.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal contacts (clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy support groups, collaboration teammates, Reimbursement and Access Specialist team, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training/Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Use deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Develop strategic territory/account/customer plans and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Ensure emphasis on the “total account call” so all personnel in the account are educated on commercially available products.
- Identify business opportunities with assigned accounts and coordinate account team efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep account knowledge through internal research and information gathered from stakeholders (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
This Role Requires
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales (specialty/biologic/REMS) strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology focus).
- Proven consistent performance in complex markets with strong integrity and compliance.
- Results-oriented; proven product launch success.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning; account management experience.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or IDNs.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and market.
