Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS)
Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers within an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Build strong working relationships with clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and internal teams (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Demonstrate “total account call” by educating all relevant personnel on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Develop territory/account/customer plans and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gather and integrate account intelligence (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree or advanced certifications (preferred).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience (strongly preferred), including specialty/biologic/REMS; product launch experience (preferred).
- 2+ years experience working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in neurology-focused large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care.
- Proven sales success in complex markets with strong integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented; strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and marketplace.
Location: Field Based, Houston South (Metro), TX.
Salary: $158,950–$220,000 annually.
