Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Field based (Fort Worth (Metro), TX)

- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key Rare Neurology customers in an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch product, grow brand share and revenue, and consistently deliver product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives in the territory.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders (clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local health care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Use deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Execute strategic account selling and management; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans to meet objectives.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all personnel in the account on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute tactics in key Rare Neurology therapeutic-area accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate with the account team (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep account knowledge via internal research and information gathering from account stakeholders (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
This Role Requires
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); Master’s degree or advanced education/certifications (a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience; specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology focus).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments, operating with high integrity within compliance guidelines.
- Results-oriented; proven success with product launches.
- Strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current market.
