Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Field Based (Fort Lauderdale (Metro), FL)
Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers in assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and consistently meet product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal partners (clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, Reimbursement and Access team, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Apply deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Execute strategic account selling and management: develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Emphasize the “total account call” by educating all account personnel on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Develop and execute tactics within key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities with assigned accounts and coordinate with the account team (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep account knowledge via internal research and proactive information gathering (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); Master’s or advanced education/certifications (plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales with specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years experience working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology-focused).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity and compliance.
- Results oriented; strong track record of product launches.
- Strong account management with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
