Role: Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS)
Location: Dallas (Metro), TX (Field Based)
Responsibilities:
- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers in assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and achieve product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, nurses, key healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, collaboration colleagues, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade.
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (care delivery, influencers, payer systems) and maintain deep knowledge of applicable customers/markets.
- Create and execute territory/account plans; emphasize the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute tactics within key accounts to establish/expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts (e.g., support contracting pull-through with accounts).
- Gain deep account knowledge through internal research and proactive stakeholder information gathering.
Qualifications/Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years successful Neurology sales (specialty/biologic/REMS strongly preferred), including launch experience (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care (Neurology concentration).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with high integrity within compliance guidelines.
- Results-oriented; strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area/marketplace.

Salary range (annually): $158,950 - $220,000.
