- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key Rare Neurology customers in an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and consistently meet product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics and trends; develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives in the territory.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal contacts (clinics, physicians, nurses, health care providers, patient advocacy groups, Reimbursement and Access Specialist team, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (regional/local care delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Apply deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Execute strategic account selling and management: develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Ensure the “total account call” so all account personnel are educated on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Develop and execute key-account strategies to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts with the Rare Neurology account team (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep knowledge of assigned accounts via internal research and stakeholder-provided information (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
This Role Requires
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree or advanced education/certifications a plus).
- Minimum 5 years successful Neurology sales experience; specialty/biologic/REMS preferred (launch experience preferred).
- Minimum 2 years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology concentration).
- Proven sales success in complex markets with diverse customer segments while operating with integrity and compliance.
- Results orientation; proven launch success.
- Strong account management with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and current Neurology marketplace.
