Discover Your Role:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and other key customers within an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and consistently deliver product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives in the territory.
- Develop strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders (clinics, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training/Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Use deep knowledge of applicable customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Apply strategic account selling/management; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans to meet objectives.
- Emphasize the “total account call,” educating all personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate the account team’s efforts (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep account knowledge via internal research and gathering/integration of stakeholder information (business model, metrics, challenges, goals).
This Role Requires:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s/advanced certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience with specialty/biologic/REMS products (launch experience preferred).
- 2+ years working with thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care (Neurology concentration).
- Proven, integrity-driven sales success in complex markets; results orientation with product launches.
- Strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current Neurology marketplace.
