Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Field Based (Chicago South (Metro), Illinois)

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers in assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share, revenue, and consistently achieve product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends; develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy support groups, internal teams (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Use strategic account selling and management; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute key-account tactics to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Proactively identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts (e.g., support contracting pull-through with accounts).
- Gather and integrate account information (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals) to gain deep account knowledge.

Qualifications/Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced education/certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience and specialty/biologic/REMS experience strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care (Neurology focus).
- Demonstrated success in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented with product launch success.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning/account management skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or IDNs.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and marketplace.

Compensation:
- Salary range (annually): $158,950–$220,000.
