The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals through compliant, integrity-driven performance.

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers in assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share, revenue, and meet product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders (clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade, and others).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Use strong account selling/management skills; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all personnel in the account on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate account team efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep account knowledge via internal research and stakeholder input (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced education/certifications a plus).
- Minimum 5 years successful Neurology sales experience; specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology concentration).
- Proven sales success in complex markets with diverse segments, operating with integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented with product launch success.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving/planning and account management skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and current Neurology marketplace.

When/Where:
- Field based; Chicago North (Metro), Illinois.

Compensation:
- $158,950–$220,000 annually.
