Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Field Based (Charlotte (Metro), NC)

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers in assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share; create comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, nurses, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups; coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training/Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (regional/local delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Lead “total account call” education so all account personnel are educated on available products.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate team support (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gather and integrate account information (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).

Qualifications/Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree or advanced certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience (specialty/biologic/REMS), preferably with launch experience.
- 2+ years working with thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care (Neurology concentration).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results orientation; strong account management and analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or IDNs.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area/market.

Salary range (annually): $158,950–$220,000.
