Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY - BOSTON, MA

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers in an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and meet product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share; establish strategies aligned to brand and corporate objectives.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Build strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders (clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (health care delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Create comprehensive territory/account/customer plans; lead contracting/pull-through coordination as appropriate.
- Use internal research to gain deep knowledge of each account (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelorโs degree mandatory; Masterโs degree or advanced education/certifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of successful Neurology sales experience; specialty/biologic/REMS experience strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in neurology-focused large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity and compliance.
- Results-oriented; strong product launch track record.
- Strong account management with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and marketplace.
