Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) – Austin (Metro), TX (Field Based)

- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers in an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, health care providers, patient advocacy groups, and internal teams (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training/Trade, Reimbursement and Access).
- Conduct rare neurology market profiling to understand regional/local care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Use deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Execute strategic account selling and management; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available Regeneron products.
- Develop and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate with the rare neurology account team (e.g., support contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep knowledge of each account via internal research and stakeholder input (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
This Role Requires
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful neurology sales; specialty/biologic/REMS experience strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (neurology concentration).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results orientation; track record of product launch success.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning/account management skills.
- Current experience calling on large neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
