Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) — Atlanta North (Metro), GA (Field Based)
Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and consistently achieve product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal collaborators (clinics, physicians, nurses, health care providers, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training/Trade, and Reimbursement and Access).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (regional/local delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Use deep knowledge of applicable customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Execute strategic territory/account plans; emphasize the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate team efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gather and integrate account information (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced education/certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience (specialty/biologic/REMS strongly preferred); launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology).
- Proven sales success in complex markets with integrity and compliance.
- Results-oriented with a track record of product launches.
- Strong account management with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.

Compensation:
- Salary range (annually): $158,950 - $220,000.
