Responsibilities:
- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers in an assigned geography; deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share/revenue, and achieve product goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and support brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade.
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling (care delivery, influencers, payer systems).
- Apply strategic account selling/management: create territory/account/customer plans.
- Ensure a “total account call” so all account personnel are educated on commercially available products.
- Develop strategy and execute tactics within key accounts to establish/generate/expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate with the account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep knowledge of each account (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals).
Qualifications/Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
Qualifications/Preferred:
- Master’s degree or advanced education/certifications.
- 5+ years successful neurology sales; specialty/biologic/REMS experience strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care (neurology concentration).
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Results-oriented; strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills.
- Experience calling on large neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of neurology therapeutic area and marketplace.
Compensation:
- Salary range (annually): $158,950 - $220,000.
